This was just meant to be a color study on some old line art that I was never happy enough with to draw. I've been listening to a lot of youtube videos about color theory in work and I wanted to try out a few things I'd learned. I think I applied them alright here. I'm not super thrilled with how this turned out, but my fiance really likes it, so I've got that going for me

This is Madeline, goes by Maddie or Mads. She's Lisa's daughter (100% human, Lisa had her before she was turned into a vampire). They get separated pretty early in the story and Lisa still does everything to protect, but they don't see each other. Madeline gets a bit angsty. One of the things I never liked about this line art is that she's only supposed to be 8 or 9 maybe 10, but here she looks 12 or 13. This is an unusual problem for me because usually my characters look too young. Sometimes you just can't win for losing .
