I'm pretty sick of this picture. At first I loved it, but, after four days of working on it, I'm tired of it.
It's a mermaid, she was a lot of work. The background was as well, and it didn't even come out how I wanted it ;n; Because I tried to make it super detailed. p:

The part I like the most about the picture is most definitely the hair. Scaled down you can't tell, but the hair had a ton of detail to it. It looks like tiny individual bits of seaweed, which is exactly what it was supposed to look like!

As for why her hand closest to us looks the way it does, it's pressing on glass....you just don't know it. Because it's...invisible...yeah! Invisible!
It's invisible glass, and my being sick of the picture and not wanting to figure out how to make it look like glass had no part in the matter.
