After a whole bunch of "inspired by", finally an actual Dark Souls fan art!My (very weirdly specced, full INT/ATN with 5 VGR) mage from Dark Souls II. This is probably my favourite armour set (that actually drops - curse you, Amana Shrine Maidens). It reminds me of vampires in Daggerfall among other things and combines being pretty, sexy and "badass" looking. Now if From could actually make the female model more feminine, those shoulders

This took really long, but I'm somewhat happy with the result - even if the breasts got bigger than I wanted them to be again, the face isn't super great, and I'm still guessing way too much in regards to anatomy D:
At least I drew more of a character than just the face/bust, it's been a while. D:

Yes, of course! In NG+2 I used almost exclusively pyromancy, dualwielding pyro flames!

Oh, well this character was my DS2 main character, I also played a mage of the same name in DS3 but not as much - the Dark covenant was part of DS2!
Grinding for those tokens offline must not be very fun!

and i need 30 vertebra shackles to get them... real pain in the ass to get

but... but those shoulders are so badass though. They allow the characters to swing the swords two times of your own weight and stuff :Y

They are especially badass while being a whimsy mage with the desert sorceress outfit and 5 Strength (I think that was the base STR for mages) :Y

Amazing work! Plus, you're exactly right about the sexy AND badass part! Nobody seems to believe a woman can be both anymore. Just look at what they just did to Sylvanas Windrunner!

Thank you! I personally think most things are fine as long as there is a variety in design. I think the Desert Sorceress set was especially fun because it was so unusual for the types of armour you can normally get in Souls games!
I don't know how I feel about Sylvanas Windrunner's redesign, if they think it's an appropriate step then it's fine (as opposed to outside pressure). What I don't like is certain types of critics acting like they own artists and can tell them what is right or (more often) wrong, because in the end a lot of this stuff comes down to personal preference

That looks pretty good.....Spite her name doesn't connect with her clothes( C'mon, There has to have a reason to have Sol in the name) But if I think of it.....Those are Desert Witch clothing which can be a suffice explanation for it I guess.....

Well, the Desert Sorceress Hood even has a stylized sun on it! Additionally, Solara has been one of my go to names for mage characters for over a decade now

Fashion Souls should always triumph over stats! Unless of course you like the look of the Alonne set, which is also pretty nice.

yeah.... but in this game, there is few chance to wear them, because you die alot.....but humanity is rare. Wear skimpy outfit like that , why hollow... is kind of.... btw. did you play it on steam as well ?

Hmm, with the exception of cursing myself to get a second attunement of Forbidden Sun, my mage hasn't been hollow in a long time - Rings of Life Protection help a lot for characters like this!
