Description Before there were atomic mutations, invaders from outer space, psychos, living dead, exorcists, bona fide grindhouse, sharks, jasons, freddys, blair witches, saws, hostels, and seemingly endless bad remakes, there was.....CLASSIC HORROR.

Inspired by "Graven Images",a book which is a magnificent collection of horror,sci-fi and fantasy movie posters, published in '92.

Thanks---studying horror movie posters of the thirties,I see they were devoid of come-on lines{"Are you prepared for terror",or something of that nature},many featured depictions of the horror star's face,in many cases it was the dominant design feature, and,of course, the fonts had to be typical of that period, such as Art Deco-style,and/or a serif font like Palantino Linotype.
