From the pages of Astro City...specifically,from The Dark Age,the miniseries that spans the sixth and seventh volume in the series...the Apollo Eleven.
Originally a group of ten human astronauts,setting up a base on the lunar surface,their discovery of an ancient alien artifact transformed them...and subsequently provided their group with an eleventh member...into ambassadors representing a coalition of alien civilizations.
Starting on the left,they are Encephalon,Kahoutek,Ichthyos,Commander One,LGM,Arthro,Aquarina,Nihil,Strangeling and Shrff,with Gas Giant in the background. I imagine them here as the title card for an animated TV series of the early 1970s,which is when the story takes place.
