Description I originally wanted to keep the silver/white colour scheme in place, however, it looked pretty crappy with my standard X-uniform colours.Β  I like to think of JP as not being a wirey speedster like Pietro but looking a bit more buff.Β  I felt being padded would be suitable for someone who flies into things.

I Hope This NorthStar Won't Go Gay Like The Original.

"Go Gay"?!?! WTF, that is SO ignorant.

Northstar didn't "go gay", Northstar was written by his creator John Byrne as gay from the launch of the Alpha Flight series, they just couldn't use the term because comics were uptight about such things, but there were enough clues littered through the series it make it blazingly obvious.

I think being gay is fundamentally a part of who Northstar is, being the first comic superhero to be so.Β  However, when designing a character and drawing him I just take them on their personality and I don't really care what they do in their personal life.Β  My Northstar is a badass, quick-witted speedster and former Olympian and I don't really care who he sleeps with!

A little more Nightwing than Northstar perhaps, but he looks good in it!

Nice incorporation of the X-logo and I like the colors. Not so fond of the goggles, but I think that's in part because it gives me flashback to the Asamiya costume. I think you did fine with the colors though; they may not be his classic look, but blue is still good for a Quebecois.

Yeah, I actually think it looked better without the goggles but I felt they were a must as homage to his ski-jumper past (plus referencing both his Chuck Austen era costume) and due to the practicalities of being a speedster. Β I want all my x-men to have a individual colour/shade and Storm and Emma Frost have whitish silver covered so I thought baby blue would be a good look.

Love the costume , but i'm missing the star (at least the one in the side)

Yeah, I initially had the star but had to remove it as it looked really out of place! such a shame as I think its the defining part of his costume.
