Description
This is my interpretation of Len Weins X-men squad. In my universe they would be a squad of teenagers who are led by Storm and mentored by Banshee. All five characters were created by Len Wein which is why Sunfire and Wolverine whom are Giant-Size characters are not included (they first appeared elsewhere in Marvel). I feel tat this "international" team represent X-men when they were at their best. Chris Claremonts "world tour" story which took this group all over the world is, for me, the definitive arc in X-men history and really showed what they were all about.Related content

Love Nightcrawler, he's adorable, and that version of Warpath is awesome, normally every native american superhero is a stereotype from the old west, which is ridiculous and racist, thank you for giving a design that doesn't piss me off.

These are amazing! So much to love!
First of all, I love the designs. I like that they are cohesive but individual, colorful but not obnoxious, and combat ready yet casual. Perfect!
Can't wait for the Gen X batch (notably Chamber and M). Fingers-crossed for Karma and Rictor as well! <3

There will be a genX at some point though they will likely be smashed together with some of the latter X-students. I'm also a big fan of Chamber and M, though M may find her place among an X-factor squad instead (one of my fave series, I love her dynamic with Siryn and Maddrox).

Giant-size is a reference to the name of the first issue of x-men these characters all first appeared in. I have about 3 dozen more planned drawings so I'm snowed under right now!
