A gift of gold
With wings of white
To take us on a magic flight
Soaring high into the sky
We cast our troubles far aside
Over valleys and rivers and the ocean wide
In the distant lies the storm of doubt
Over mountains and rainbows and the sands of time
We fly by the soft glow of pale moonlight
Over worlds old and new and those yet to be
But the bonds of reality still has us tied
This world of wonder slowly leaves my eyes
I find myself in bed
Just a dream
I turn my sleepy gaze to the window
And look into the night sky and see...
A shooting star...
