Description This is my entry to 's transportation contest! The girl is riding some futuristic hoverboard thingie... It was the first thing that came to mind for me, so that's what I made... The background isn't so great, but as I have said many a time, I stink at them, but I did my best! Lineart done in Microns, the rest done in Photoshop 7.0.

She would have to be in order to make that thing work. They are the only ones who can defy the laws of psyics like that and get away with it.

I really like the coloring on this piece.. it has a very anime-style CG feel to it which fits very well. I think the angle of the hover-board looks a little off or I think she'd be in a pretty painful position since her feet would seem to have to be bent at an odd angle themselves. Then again, I've never ridden a hover board or a skateboard for that matter, so maybe this is perfectly done

Thank you muchly! ^^ Indeed, she's probably hurting a little, though i'm thinking she's in heels and so it's not as extremely painful as it looks, *lol*! I was going for the surfer type pose, but I never drew one before, so it was all new territory for me *lol*! I learn from my mistakes though!

Thank you, you're too kind to me! ^__^ I've been trying, I still find so much fault with everything... I guess I'm my harshest critic! *lol* It took me so long to figure out all the little tricks to digital colouring, I'm finally getting the hang of it!

*harmlessfangirl and I have our own comic, but it's not been finished yet... As for my own... jeepers... I don't know! *lol* I think I'm intimidated by dialogue... But it could be worth a try! I have so many unused characters, it'd be great to put them to use!

too bad that hoverboard has no more room for me. It's a really nice hoverboard, and the chick that's riding on it is sexeh. And it's original too because a hoverboard isn't a very common mode of transportation. yet.

It's ok! Backgrounds are hard for me too. Maybe there some rule if your good at characters and costumes then backgrounds have to be hard or something.
