Ah Vaporeon... an eveelution I never really got round to using much. I personally prefer to use Jolteons (though I think my next one will be a vaporeon now...)

It is perfectly huggable... just avoid the spikes or put something to cover them (same idea as using a saddle when surfing on an Omastar)
