I started this picture over a month ago and drew that immediately after I got the main theme of Sonic 2006 from Leoz (*E09ETM ), but even over a month I hadn’t came to finish it, but now finally I finished it…The first elements I drew on the paper were Princess Elise, Sonic, Silver and Shadow, I only was able to finish the picture after I read spoilers about the game on the Sonic Stadium forum (for the link to the forum, check out =darkspeeds journal!)
This is the first time I drew Mephiles and the second time I drew Blaze. I added Mephiles to be behind Shadow, because he is the dark side of our loved ultimate life form and has an interesting story. What I wonder about is what Jamai would do with Shadow’s dark side? And with her own dark side?
Blaze is behind Silver in this picture, because they are supposed to have a brother-sister relationship, at least that’s what the spoilers said. I found a lot of interesting things in the spoilers, and to me they hadn’t “spoiled” anything, they just made the game even more interesting. I cannot await the whole stuff I can find on the internet as soon as the game comes out. I don’t need to be sad that I cannot play the game or get it, I still can watch films to it on youtube, download the music themes from the official sites and read the storyline on Wikipedia!
I love the game and will draw more fanart of it soon enough!

All of these characters are so well portrayed. The poses and placement are lovely, you sure know what you're doing.
Silver and Blaze look very nice there. I wonder what their relationship is like, I want to know more about the two (I never had the chance to play Sonic Rush, so I never learned much about her =___= ).
You draw Elise so beautifully, I like your style for her. You got her down, her gentle face, her VERY difficult clothes (I can't stand drawing her. It's TOO hard XD), and everything!!

Yeah, i can't wait to see stuff about the game too, what's really got me curious is the whole Shadow and Mephiles thing, I really REALLY badly want to know! I don't know much about Blaze, so I'm glad she's making an apperence in this game!

well, as you see right, I really learned a lot from Leoz's style, she inspired me alot, just like you, too...
though, my mom always says that my style is too childish... or so... she says that she doesn't like how I choose the colors, but in the end it's my decision and not hers!!
*giggles* Thanks for your comment, I came to realize a few more things about my art. In my opinion I had a few changes in my art, it took a while until i had my own and I am still learning a lot of new things.
yeah, i also haven't seen Shadow with this kind of expression before. I can say that i wasn't sure about Mephiles' color, but I somehow did that. and i also never saw Burning Blaze before, I only had one ref picture of wikipedia.com and that hadn't a high quality. I still wonder how it can be possible that Silver and Blaze know each other...

yes indeed, jamai. this game is cool, just to wait that he comes in stores, at me, of course. i watched some trailers of him on Youtube too. especially when Silver use a steel joist as a spring to fly away. the intro is well perfect too and the graphisms? nothing to say: magic.
well, the charas are well placed on the pic, Mephiles behind Shadow, who is is dark side. Blaze behind Silver, i didn't know that they had a familial relation, me =/
and, for finish, i find that yu drew Princess Elise very well, perfect. i suppose that there had no place on yur paper to put Knuckles, Tails, Rouge, Eggman and Omega? lol
