'Breath of Life' - Florence + the Machine

It's her lovely equine character Valentia in cell shading, running through an alpine landscape with a cold chill in the air and a star-studded sky complete with the first flakes of falling snow Okay I don't think it can even snow when the sky is clear, but whatever - imagine the snow clouds are just a little in front of Val and off the photo.

Of course, I know Soph (Val's owner) loves Florence, so I did this as a little addition because I just love 'Breath of Life' which was the soundtrack for 'Snow White and The Huntsman' and the film is amazing and so is the song, which is also one of three main songs at Live @ The Rose which I'm thinking about auditioning for

Val here is inspired by the moon, sea and snow. Well, I didn't get the moon or sea, but I got snow, which was added at the last second And I thought stars were better than the moon anyway

The movie is my excuse for the awful wounds and horrible things I gave Val Ohmygod please don't kill me for scrapping your character Soph! The shadows are from the movie too, and the song - seriously guys you need to listen to it whilst looking at this because it's when it works it's best - but there's a small whispered part saying 'it's come to claim her'. Val is a 'her' and the shadows have come to claim her (you know because shadows are 'it' and not 'they' xD) There's also 'a little touch of heavenly light' which is stars, and 'a breath of life' which I supposed could be the fog seeping from her mouth which then gives the idea her life force is being sucked by the shadows or she could just be cold

Val's known to be a bit of a tough nut, so I'm thinking the reasons behind her wounds are just wolves

Short story time

Screaming; endless screaming. It rung on and on and on, but I didn't know whether it was of my own cause or someone else. So I ran. I ran in an attempt to escape the screams. I ran to escape the shadows my past.

Vines whipped and lashed at my coat and blood welled from the wounds. I did not stop. My breath fogged out into the night air. I did not stop, not even to marvel at the stars or the milky way. The daisy woven into my hair fluttered out and got crushed under my pounding hooves. I didn't stop to rescue it either.

It was shattered, broken and crushed; unable to be salvaged. Like my life.

So, Valentia isn't my character so I maybe I am not the best writer to even write in Val's POV, but it's just a little something I thought explained the situation and made a little clearer.
