The sword is called a Fuuenken, or better known as the Fireseal. Name pretty much says it all. ^-^ My friends joke and say it's like an over sized lighter.

yep! Guilty Gear is a pretty fun fighting game! Awesome soundtrack too!they have so many, i've lost count. the last one i have was Guilty Gear X Accent Core, i believe.

i am always happy to see awesome guilty gear cosplay's. it turned out very well. i am going to take a lucky guess and say that you have seen a few female sol badguy drawings that have hovered around on the net for your cosplay costume looks like them.

HAHA! Most likely! I was inspired by this one fan artist. I believe his/her nickname is NEKKEAU. They had like different cross gender characters from Guilty Gear, King of Fighters, and so on. Feeling inspired (as always), I started off making Female Sora cosplays, then Sol Badguy, then Vincent Valentine, Dante Sparda and more. I would love to meet them and tell them how much their work amazes me. It's been such a crazy habit of mine since I discovered their work. I'm not sure when will be the first time I'll do an actual default male cosplay. ^-^ Most people find it weird/ridiculous, but it's not like I'm breaking some sort of Cosplay Law or anything!

theres nothing wrong with crossgender cosplays, sometimes they turn our really cool and impressive. but like with all things, there are limits for it.
when i get back stateside, i plan on doing some cosplaying. i have a paladin tier 2 costume that i have being commissioned right now for me, and i plan on getting another costume or two commissioned. but one costume i plan on making on my own (which i have the pdf of how to make it) is some space marine power armor. that would be pretty badass to cosplay as. i have seen some videos of a guy who made a black templars power armor, and he was playing wii bowling, and other silly things.

i didn't think there was nothing wrong with it either, but there are times whenever i see ppl take things like cosplaying so seriously i just want to strangle them.

actually, i would love to learn how to make a cosplay of armor... like iron man or samus or one of the Jugdes from Final Fantasy XII. i would LOVE to do stuff like that.

ya, i have met a few people who are almost ritualistic about cosplaying, and i just laugh at them and tell them how frivolous it is to be so ornery about something thats just a hobby.
i will take some pics when i get back to the states and post them on my deviant art page (and i have the perfect sword for me to use with my cosplay, its pretty big, but made of epic and win. its the apocalypse sword from the family roots website), my sword would add the perfect touch to my paladin costume.
and i was planning on getting a set of rathalos armor (from monster hunter) commissioned, and making my own sword for the cosplay. if you want to check out the place that i am getting my costumes commissioned, its www.cosplaystation.ca you can see the paladin armor they have there. and i was thinking of having them make my rathalos armor.
