Yeah I made it up.
The first part does come from the original poem, but the last part I changed to fit the American McGee's Alice Jabberwock more.

HECK YEAH... I know the 1st part from the book... glad to meet other people who know that game... I actually met 2 crazy Americans this year (or last year whatever) who either played or wanted to play that game ha ha ha

That's no surprise, it's one Hell of a good game, especially considering the time it was made in. It pushed limits of grim, gore, psychological drama, platforming and brutal playstyle really really far, which is what makes it so good.
The few poeple who do know it, love it. Simple as that. So it's no wonder they'd want to play it, I do too. I own Madness Returns but not the original.

I didn't really like Madness Returns
MANY hard to beat LOW LEVEL Monsters and just 1 Boss?
and I didn't get that story at all

It was indeed not half as good as the first game, but, meh, I enjoyed playing through it, several times. The Dollhouse levels got pretty scary at times and there was still enough gore to go around. Plus, stomping on Heartguard zombies as giant Alice was incredibly fun.
The lack of bosses was indeed pretty lame. There were SO many good opportunities for bosses, but no, they just introduced regular enemies who become more and more powerfull ( and annoying ), and though that did fit the story, it just isn't the same.
It took a while before I got a hang on the story as well, but once you get it, it's pretty well done. I actually think this story is darker then the first one. Wether that makes it better I'm not sure yet.
Yeah, sure, toys that decapitate monsters, freezes them, blows them up, puts them on fire and what not. Great stuff to give to your kids for Christmas.

it's weird you kick that dude's butt, then she pushes him in front of the underground... I think the story was better... like: it wasn't Alice or her cat's fault for the fire which killed her parents and stuff as they showed in the 1st game's movie
and I DIG that thingy you said about the toys
you forgot toys that 52 pick up them, mallet them, also the Ice Wand Ice Shields, jacks them, unleashes demons from Dimension X and stuff on them, blunderbusses them (throws acorns at them), lasers them (Jabberwock Eye Staffs them), and stops them in time?!
