Love what you did with this one. Your chosen light source is a very cool concept, and all the surrounding dreams look fantastic!

The feathers are particularly gorgeous, the hair here looks excellently soft and there is a LOT to like here...

Wow. Now this is nice. I was starting to think there was nothing on the newest deviation list that wasn't painfully bad or disturbing.

I really like this though. May I ask what brush settings you use you got that nice, smooth looking shading? I've been trying to color in this style before but it never turned out right.

Thank you so much for the compliment. I simply used the smoothest round airbrush and knocked the flow down to 50%

If you zoom in, there's actually a lot of texture going on because the brush has no hardness and it simply applies thin, transparent layers of the color picked on top of what you already have (kinda like oil painting)

Oh yeah, thank you. I'll make sure to try that the next time I feel like doing some digital painting. Thanks again for the tip, this is a great picture and I'm glad I managed to spot it on the front page.
