Wonder Woman's Sister.A Black character that DC has had for for over 42 years but has never really used, or given her own venue. She was raised by the the God War... is WW equal in combat, strength and speed but also has slightly different powers that make her unique.
For one thing she can create dimensional gates or doorways, Helps guard the Gates to the river Styx.... is a princess in her own right with followers
carries a magic sword that gives her immunity to the magic Lasso and has the ability to strike anyone with a stone-like paralysis.
She is not just a colorized Wonder Woman but her own character. Its ashamed she is wasted by DC doing Wonder Woman in Black face.
If i could i would have changed her costume to all gold and placed a Lions Head on her chest plate as that''s her symbol

Very cool image! Did not know about this character either. Will have to look into her more. She could easily fit in the DC Universe I'm still noodling with.

Oh she is bad ass, But the big difference is her upbringing. I think that THAT is or would be the main reason she would not fit into the world of man. She was raised by Ares the God of war and little known to most people he is also the god of Berserkers... could you imagine someone like her.. as in superman supergirl and wonder womans power class blanking out into a murderous rage? so she would probably stay in the realm of the gods unless called. But then you know us writers we can fuddge any reason to get her to earth
As i was thinking, her followers would be more like Valkyries as she guards the gate of hell/the river styx, or doom gate as you put it.. You know what? There should be a river going into the gaping maw that you have.. Where did you get that anyway its very cool!

At some point I will get back to the JL story and Batman is going to have to go to the Underworld to rescue Diana. I'm thinking Nubia is going to help him and this woman raised by Ares would make a good antagonist in their journey to rescue Diana. At least that will keep her out of "man's" world. Indeed, she sounds like a living disaster waiting to happen.

I was thinking Nubia would probably be a little envious of Diana as she gets to go to earth.. Have a superman boyfriend etc etc... Thats the best part of the revamp.. him and Lois made absolutly NO sense.. She should have had a big hole in the top of her head!

I looked through comic vine and saw the variations on Nu'bia. I only knew about the post crisis version and description, thus the lion head on her breast plate. In my original reading I did not know she was raised by Ares/Mars, but Diana seemed to rescue her by getting the ring off that Ares used to control her. This does offer some other ideas. Another spoiler, Ares is with Diana in the Underworld in Hades palace, though Diana's memories are currently unavailable to her. This is inspiring me to return to the story sooner rather than later.

The only thing i would do that was non cannon is make her sword always return to her hand like Thors hammer.. But that is just me.
OH! There is a power i forgot to mention! She being Gaia''s grand daughter like Diana... Made from dirt and stuff etc.. She can immerse herself in the earth and completely heal from any wound.. Freaky scary huh??
