love isn't
perfect. it isn't fun all the time. it isn't easy, it's not always happy. it isn't all kisses on the lips and entangled fingers. love isn't looking at a girl and wanting to shred her clothes off. love isn't crying yourself to sleep every night. love isn't worth the time. love is not big boobs and a big ass and some nice curves inbetween. love isn't your heart feeling like it's collapsing in your chest. love isn't jealousy, or anger.
love is
gorgeous. it's hard. it's the scars on your knees and the sore throats you get when you won't put on a sweater. love is leaving the house even when you feel a lot more like crying. love is waking up and remembering you have something to wake up for. love is heart tremors and hand shivers. love is watching cartoons with your baby sister on a saturday morning in your pajamas like you're a kid again. love is awkward first kisses and asking for a hug everytime you see your sweetheart. love is drinking sweet tea when it's hot and black tea when it's cold. love is runny mascara, smeared lipstick, disheveled hair and chipped red varnish on your fingertips. love is fucking over showers so you get to school on time. love is worth searching for. love is ripped jeans and holey teeshirts and mud caked on your eyes.
