Description This is a layout I did for a project, based on a fairytale. I did it early on in the development stages, so there are some problems with perspective. I like how it turned out though, so I'll put it on here. IM in the middle of colouring the developed version, which is a vertical pan, so it should be around soon. Again, this was based mainly on swiss architecture.

For a work in progress, this isn't that bad. I do see the perspective problem you had previously mentioned. Still, great detail, especially in such ares as what could be what appears to be a cobblestone or brick walkway in the middle. With the perspective the way it is, just a few minor adjustments and you could pass this off as surrealism. I would be interested to see how this turned out.

whoa.. class.. and that curvy perspective thing is so hard to do did you do all those lines freehand or use french curves? I particularly like the lettering on the shoemaker sign, the washing line, and the gate/railing thing on the right

*is impressed*

Yea, its a warped perspective, kinda fish eye I guess. Everything in it is freehand, we're not really allowed to use rulers or french curves. Yea for the lettering, I actually applied rules we learned in class, same for the railing. You find out how big each object would be drawn on the page when its the same size in perspective by using a system of crosses. Kinda of a pain in the ass to do, I feel a bit restricted when I use it but i guess I just need more practise with it

Well it's great... I'd say to draw more of these, but if you don't like doing it, I guess not
