I was having trouble sleeping this morning, so I got out of bed about an hour earlier than usual. When I came downstairs to let the dog out, I encountered the soft light of the sun before it came up, and a sliver of the moon still hanging in the eastern sky. Very pretty! I had to snag my camera.
