To me, love is someone who will listen to you (hence the tin can phone), to your opinions, your stupid jokes, your biased views, to your music even though they hate it, to your crazy relatives, someone will listen even on the days when every other word you say makes no sense. They listen without needing to talk, just because they want to. Because they want to hear your voice. Love may be blind, but it isn't deaf.

You make a great point here. Love really is about listening and I am still working on that!

Really cute idea, but being the stickler for grammar that I am, I couldn't help but notice that "to listen" would be said about a verb!

this is true! I couldn't decide whether to make it a verb because of the definition or to keep it a noun since that what it actually is...so i decided to just stick with the noun. You're the first one to comment on it though
