Description Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon

What do you do when you're the last person on earth and you don't know why?

FYI people's comments probably contain spoilers.

This game is like playing a Hayao Miyazaki movie combined with Myst. It's amazing. I bought it even though reviewers complain about the actual play mechanics, but really the story alone makes it worth playing.

The instruction manual has a bunch of spoilers (as they usually do), so if you get it just put it in and play it. If you like thought provoking, depressing, and semi-creepy games it's a good choice. If you're more of an action/fast-paced type person, try something else.

This game depressed me and nearly made me cry. That's impressive, considering I'm a very depressed, uneeling person. About equivalent to winning a Grammy.

Hiyao Miyazaki if he used a more traditional anime style, that is.

...but I still love the heck out of this game. I sorely miss it and hope that one day maybe we'll see more from them.

It is THE amazing game. Especially if you like sad things. Because this game goes: Unhappy, slightly happier, OHGODWHY-level sadness, squee, anger, understanding, SQUEE, creepy, and from then on it's sad/creepy, except for like 3 minutes near the end where it's happy/hope-inspiring before it gets depressing again. But it is so dang beautiful! Just make sure you get all the bells.

Yep. XD But I seriously cried when PF died. I didn't cry when I saw Titanic or any of those other sad movies. Heck, I was barely even sad during Titanic. But when PF died... Jeez. T.T

Its like videogames just get you really into it because you play the character ya know?

Absolutely. But I really loved PF. Look at her character development. She expirienced more development in an hour than many main characters do in entire games, not to mention well-executed. She is a box that you wear on your back. I think that's proof that the people who made this game knew what they were doing.

Exactly!
I really liked Crow too, he was a kind of mainstream character but he still had an interesting personality and way of expressing himself

Yeah. At first I was yelling "You ASS! Give me back my memories!" and generally seething, but then some of the things he said made me realize that he was making sure seto was strong enough to survive. Then the... THING happened and I was confused until I realized he was just really naive. And then he died too. I was NOT happy. I just kinda... sat there for a while. As in, the way some people react to tradgedy, instead of hysterics it was just depression. DX I just realized something... When you go up the tower, the guy who raised you isn't one of the voices.

I watched Cry's videos. The tower was where he battled that guy who kept shooting electricity at him. And yep. That girl. I wanted her to shut up, but then she was like "Okay, I trust you." and I realized that she just had psychological issues. also: "Y-you touched me!" XD

When the Chicken-Man was suddenly trying to kill me it seriously scared the shit out of me, though. This comes rom the person who finds Jurassic Park more of a comedy than anything. And you know that friggin giant machine? Those are real things.

True. I can understand the strange foot ladies as being forest spirits or something, but why would a forest spirit be underground? Meh, I just look at things far too closely, I guess. X3
