Description “I lie awake, staring out at the bleakness of Megadon. City and sky become one, merging into a single plane, a vast sea of unbroken grey. The Twin Moons, just two pale orbs as they trace their way across the steely sky. I used to think I had a pretty good life here, just plugging into my machine for the day, then watching Templevision or reading a Temple Paper in the evening.”

My brother is devoting he and his friend's radio show to RUSH tonight. They're currently playing the whole 2112 album the whole way through.

I like this!

Vue will do some amazing things (as long as I don't insist on trying to put poser figures in the scene). Thank you.

Thank you very much. Like most, I really appreciate favs and you have kindly granted me several. I like comments and always try to take criticism as a learning opportunity so if you have reservations about a piece, I'm glad to hear them. But a new friend is beyond price. Thank you.

Wow, amazing work. I love how you can do such amazing art even without having 'people' in it.

Thank you. As I said to Jan and Tash, this was an easy one. The idea sprang almost fully formed from reading the Rush lyric. Since there were no plants or procedural terrains, it was, for Vue at least, a pretty quick render. I'm very glad you like it.

Love the darkness of the 'city' and the twin moons...great use of the lighting to center on the main building .. your imagination is envious hon

The description came from the lyric. ( this wasn't really a hard one to do, rendered in under two hours too. )

Quite an impressive scenery you have here! Very nice touch with that purple light, too. Me likes.

Thank you. That is a ten city block set called "Dystopia" from Cornicopia. I needed it for an outside project and have been itching to use it here.

Ah, I think I even have some Dystopia blocks for Poser, from the times they were available free at DAZ... just never had the chance to actually use them... they really look impressive!

Thank you. It wouldn't be the first time that something I thought was exclusive to Vue showed up for other render programs. Hope they are the same, the detail on these is quite impressive considering the size and number of them.

I'll let you know as soon as I have the chance to use them, but I'm afraid it won't be any time soon, my Poser is dying on me, I think - it refuses to render anything more complex than one character + a cyclorama background. I won't even mention turning raytracing on...

Sorry for ranting, guess I just needed to cry on somebody's shoulder.

That's terrible. And who else but another poser user would understand why this is such a bad thing. Jan (jjean21) is also having bad poser problems this week.
