I dont even.... i got so lazy on this one.... :/ Just wanted to show you the colour scheme for Wen Yin. I know the colours are fucked up and i will try to fix them later, for now...EDIT: I added a bit more colour on the dress, changed Yins complexion and eye colour and added a white highlight

I like the color scheme, since I got info that you want some ice magic...
For better result, it will be better if you add some turqouise for more icy effects on the pattern. Maybe adding shoe pattern will be better...

Maybe you can use her background story for her personality. Seroiusly, I ever made a historical OC, but it seems fail.Β I want to commisioned it, but I don't have enough money for that...
I have to tell you an info : Wen Yang's real name was Wen Shu. But in "Bok of Jin", the name changed to "Yang", his childhood name to bring up in the adulthood.Β
Maybe, if you create her as Wen Yang's twin sister, you can use her old name as the real name. For her, I think she will be the opposite personality of Wen Yang. Because Wen Yang was a focused mind person,which makes him unaware his surroundings, Β you can make Wen Yin as a person who cares about everyone around her, but sometimes level-headed because of her fear from her own past. Her cold personality can also give a hint for the comicbook.
Sorry for taking it too much. You can use my reference, or maybe find another reference. But the concept is still up to you. I'm just giving advice on design

Actually, you already HAVE the personality from her background story. You only need to develop the story, into personality. You already got the skill, you only need to develop more. I'll be happy to be your advisor(or editor?)

yea something like that. Zhu Ran will find really strange at first since she will be a little distant and "cold". When it comes to them two competeing oiver, she will always interrupt and say that they need to cool off XD If you have watched Teen Titans show then the relationship between Zhu Ran and Wen Yin will be much like Beast Boy and Raven.

You can use the affair between Zhu Ran and Lu Xun for your hint. It will work well. You want her to have some affair with Zhu Ran, aren't you?

Wen Yang will recognize her when the people will turn against her. You see he saw that his father lashed out at her and that she left. But back he was wondering who was she and didnt even bother of trying to stop her. Over time he would have dreams of him and Yin playing together. He basicaly tries to remember her, but he remembers her at her exile, trying to call off the archer attack. (Yin receives an arrow in her arm)
As for the drama, Lu Xun doesnt seem like a person to lose his composure over a brickering for a girl. While Zhu Ran is most likely to deny his feelings at first. But it doesnt seem like a bad idea.
