broke an old mirror today (didn't even notice until later) while preparing for the hurricane today ... it was too cool not to photograph
kinda foreshadows what's coming a little bit...this was taken outside... the reflection is the sun, not a flash

thanks! actually I think I got some good luck out of it becayse the storm was downgraded from a category 4 to a category 2 and it doesn't seem to be causing TOO much chaos... almost nothing around here

I definatey agree with what has already been said; the crack looks great and I totaly understand the need you had to photograph it.
The contrast between the shadows in the crack and the brightness of the sun's reflect works really well and adds a real depth to the image; something that the dark border helps to accent.
Very nice, crisp capture as well. You're photography continues to put my (little used) abilities to shame.

That's actually a very interesting crack. Wish there were reflections of some other stuff other than the sun though. But this is still awesome nonetheless.
