I really like it! I think the use of a curvature map could have increased the contrast of the edge could have made it pop more, but I like the hand-painted look a lot too.

It’s a matter of preference here. When doing cartoony stuff, I sometimes overuse the curvature map in my final renders to have this hand-painted look. Probably a bat habit on my part >w>

Ah! The curvature looks great on cartoony stuff! There was this guy on YouTube, 3DEx or so, who does amazing stuff like that and it also has a pretty pronounced Curvature map!
Gotta admit I wasn't going for a cartoony approach though, but I also never modeled plastic toys before, so maybe your approach would be worth checking out next time x3
