Boring title. I don't care.
For being such a big fan, I'm stunned I haven't added this on here before somewhere... *Bemused*
Okami still stands as one of my favourite games of all time. (My fav being Psychonauts, which deserves a fanart too come to think of it...) and I still regularly re-play it.
The game itself looks like a living, breathing watercolour painting... plus, you kill bad-guys by drawing on them! How can you get any more Epic Win! ^ ^
Well, here's my take on Ammy, relaxing for while under a Cherry tree. I tried my best to simulate the look of the game, using black ink and copic markers to achieve the Sumi-e style... I hope to worked...

I still play mine on the PS2. It still so cool to slash up enemies with a magic paintbrush...
Yup. Done with Copics. The Bleeding comes with layering the colours over the top of each other. It doesn't look it, but certain parts have about five or six colours layered on top of each other!

I recently got my hands on some Derwent Inktense pencils. apparently they give that parchment effect when you wet it? i'm not so sure =.=

not exactly watercolour, but it looks more like, the colours get more 'intense' and are more vibrant when wet, not exactly like watercolour, more like, thick paint.

Ah, absolutely beautiful. You really captured the style of Okami. I love that game so much and this is amazing.
