She believes in the idea of reaping your own benefits rather than having others work for you for those benefits. As far as she's concerned about charity, she thinks it's just a "melodramatic" excuse to do other people's work who "claim" to be unable to do it themselves. She's also hard about receiving help when it's given to her which is another thing she will eventually have to get over and learn to appreciate, particularly the meaning of "teamwork".
As you can tell, she has a lot of growing up to do, hee hee~

Quite a lot. As for her coming to terms with the charity issue, it should be easy to come up with a way to convince her she is wrong. Partially wrong, at the very least.

Though not any time soon, she will eventually when she comes to understand that ppl can't do everything by themselves~ which I assume she'll figure out a while after she's evolved and has confronted her dad.

Indeed, which is why there are plenty of other things she will be developing as a character as she goes along. Right now she's very ignorant, very ungrateful, immature for sure, very very very muy muy rude, and downright unhappy with her obvious issues. As she grows, her ignorance is replaced with silent understanding, her ingratitude becomes appreciation for the little things, she becomes more mature, her rudeness transforms into that of blunt bold honesty, and her overall attitude transforms from that of being overbearingy irritable to having a strong sense of leadership. Of course she will always be irritable, but she will develop a maternal tone about it, Hee Hee. So yes, definitely LOTS of development to look forward to~ okay, I've given enough spoilers already, lol.
