Another go at a landscape-y drawing
I always loved Pumpkin Hill since I played SA2 when I was younger; I always found it easy but I know some people hate it >.>
I would love to explore it, that would be awesome fun
(sucks that I have a fear of falling lol)I tried doing it in like daytime/sunset but the colours would not work so I went for a night-purple style.
I also was going to add ghosts in but I feel it would ruin the position of the characters and somewhat the tone/mood

Also this wasn't intended as a pairing between Rouge and Knuckles but you can take it that way if you want c:

I love pumpkin hill as well; I enjoyed both the design and the gameplay
As for a story or idea I didn't set anything in particular down when I was drawing (it was mostly because I felt the picture was kinda empty without having characters in it 
But I would probably say it's something about Rouge asking Knuckles to meet there to discuss a chaos emerald or something else

I got horrendously lost everytime I played it so am not fond!Β But it makes a great great.Β Love the contrast between the poses too, Rouge perched there looking reasonably relaxed in spite of the surroundings, and Knuckles - looks like he's just touched down on that platform from higher up and is instantly wary!
