Description
I started this before the "Michael Sword" revelation,so now it's even more relevant. Normally I think portraying a
character as an angel is totally clichΓ©d, but the Winchesters
have always had that religion/faith connection, as well as
protecting people, often without their knowledge or thanks.
Since I decided to make posters out of this one, I edited it
in photoshop to fill in the black expanses, just in case my
shading didn't quite cut it. This is the only time I've done
that! I normally retouch graphite drawings to fix whatever
the scanner's butchered, but I don't paint over my shading.
Just so you know.

I'm totally amazed !!! The details and the textures (like the skin...wow) are amazing ,you nailed the contrast so perfectly on his face 
Maybe the left wing could have been darker, the wing would have seem more "in phase" with the face....but you would have surely lost that beautiful "heavenly" glow
So...yeah...that's an amazing drawing.

Dean was like my ubercrush before Cam Gigandet came. Although he still is, sort of. I mean, this is so realistic I was thinking of confessing my feelings for a while there 'coz he looks just about to fly out of my screen and take me for a ride teehee! Won't I faint when that happens.

I can watch this drawing such a long time and I don't get bored. I'm really impressed by the wings. It's one of the best drawings of Dean I've seen (among with all your other drawings you made from him, I mean I can't name one of your drawings were I think, it's not Dean)

This is... actually truly. breathtaking. It's one of the rare pictures I find where I really, really, really wish the person features on it would see it one day. I wonder how Jensen would feel. Appreciative? Annoyed? Maybe humbled by your skill? Anyway, it doesn't matter. We'll never know.

I'd die from embarrassment if Jensen ever saw this, and especially if I knew about his reaction. If his reaction was negative, I'd never forgive myself, and if it was positive, I'd feel like it wasn't worthy of such a response from him.
(Although I did just get a postcard from Misha Collins, thanking me for a small drawing I sent him months ago. He seemed pretty happy. And while I always think something like that would make me hideously uncomfortable, it made me really happy, too.)

Wow, I wish I had seen this sooner. Stunning piece. I know you've already heard this a ton, but the wings and neck are just off the hook. That had to take a lot of patience to get all those little details on the feathers. And his neck!! UGH! The rings from where the skin bends look so realistic. Anytime I attempt to draw that it always ends up being overly obvious, but you've got the shading down brilliantly. For me, though... I got to say that the shading around the eyebrows and that intense lighting around the jaw and outer edges of the face is just brilliant. Has to be my favorite part of the image.

It's amazing! The light, the shadows, the detailing on the feathers, the hair, the stubble on his face! It's just perfect. Could easily pass that off as a photo! Flawless!

I'm sorry if you already answered this, but there are a lot of comments to read through lol. Do you mind if I ask how you got that perfect black, no streak darkness behind him? I cannot figure out how the heck to get black that way.
