Topaz? I dunno what that colour is... i always thought he was fawn, or silver fawn. N i dunno what to call his markings. I'd call him a bareback, but he has a orange patch right over his butt 
Geez i love dumbos though! So much more affectionate and mellow than normal-eared ratties. I adore their dopey look too <3 Good luck with your new ones

Im no good at telling the difference between topaz and fawn and silver fawn, they all look so similar to me. But I too have heard that dumbos are of sweeter temperament than standard eared rats (people say they're not just called dumbos because of their ears, lol) I've only ever had the one, Seven, and he was a complete sweetheart. I'd really have to wait for the new boys to see if it's a common thing in dumbos. But I've had some wonderful standard eared rats too so who knows. I know that in the UK, our dumbos are supposed to be noticably friendly as a rule because the first ever dumbos were had here were smuggled in from america and they all had wonderful temperament so it's been bred into the dumbos we have here from the start

My mate, who is an aggressive inline skating nut, calls him Mezu which is a skating move... And because of that, Miso is one of his favorite rats XD

He was probably contemplating how to get on the floor and run free like they used to be allowed to do... (then they picked up rat lice somehow, and they don't get to run free until we are rid of all the damn lice >.<
He was just standing still like that though...posing.. i had plenty of time to aim and focus. Crazy rodent XP

Rat lice are like human lice, only on rats. They suck their blood, make them itch, lay eggs in their fur, etc. >.< I have NO clue where my critters picked them up from X.x Regular baths with diluted doggy flea shampoo seems to be getting rid of them though, thank goodness!
