I love those rock pictures! Β Are they in any particular animal's enclosure, or are they a pathway from one level of the zoo to another?

A 100% natural scenic road that leads from the Zebra, African Watussi, and Elk enclosures to the front of the zoo. The Zoo has a main drive that has exhibits on one side and playgrounds, picnic areas, and a stream that are also part of the zoo. Then the other side has the small animal houses and new welcome center, the Hyenas, bears, Tigers, Barn, Petting Zoo, Peacocks, owl, aviary, and burrowing animal/aviary, and Bison Habitat. The Bison Habitat is huge bigger then every other exhibit combined x2 to my knowledge. At the Bison exhibit you go round a corner that takes you on Scenic drive and past several hiking trails and a view from a cliff of a beautiful Dam and lake. That takes you down a road and around another corner that forks off on a few occasions where you can go to a large park away from the main chaos of children usually with an area of grass big enough to play games and a really old, Old One Room School House that has been kept up to date while keeping accurate to it's hay day. You eventually get to the school house which is on a three way fork where you can view that house and the Zebras and in walking distance from the view of the Elks. You can see the exhibit but only a small part. I don't have any good photos of the Elk's because I have only gotten to see them on one or two occasions far away in the past two years. Before they were regular and even came up close one time. To the point I put the camera away and talked to them as some kids feed them grass sticking out from the fence. Another time had I stayed about 2 minutes longer before going back to the vehicle I would have had them frolicking in the water as the sun glimmered and danced on the water. I was just so tired I went back to the vehicle. The Zoo in acres on paper is the biggest Zoo in the State but most of it is forest, scenic paths, and apparently deep in the forest they say there is a group of homeless people praying and hoping to get there life turned around. They apparently sort of formed a small community in there out of necessity. Whether or not the rumors are true I don't know but my mom says they are.
