Description
The timid pegasus sat at the window, staring out into the snowstorm with worried eyes. It was so hard for her to breathe, especially at the thought of him not returning. Though luckily she wasn't left to panic by herself for very long, hearing a gentle voice from behind her she lifted her head from her hooves. "He'll be alright Fluttershy." Her teal eyes fell to the pink princess who was now standing next to her, a warm smile on her face. "May I sit with you?" The smaller mare gave a nod, making room for the other before returning her gaze to the window.

For a few moments there was nothing but silence between the two, both of them quietly staring out the window together, but Cadence once again broke the silence, reiterating her statement from before, "He will be alright. You married a very strong stallion who has been known to pull through all sorts of tough situations with little to no problem. So do you really think a little storm will stop him from coming back to his queen's side?" Flutters shook her head, a small smile finally coming to her face. "Good, now you should get some rest before he gets back." With that the princess of love trotted off to continue her princessly duties, leaving the yellow mare sitting all by herself once more.

It didn't take long for Fluttershy to pass out at the window, coming to a couple of hours later and realizing it had gotten quite dark. She then roamed the halls in an attempt to find her husband, but no luck. After another hour ticked by she knew she couldn't sit around any longer, so she grabbed a scarf before heading out into the horrid weather. Though hearing the soft crunch of snow beneath her hooves was almost therapeutic, if it weren't for the bitter winds that stung her face that is. She pushed forwards nonetheless, making her way through the Crystal Empire's streets, pausing at the edge of the path and out into the snowy nightmare. She took a breath before finally forcing herself further out, and after a bit of walking she sat down in the snow, her eyes taking in her surroundings. Now it was time to just wait, huh...? As the moments crept by she got more and more nervous, tears coming to her eyes as she whispered, "Please return to me..."
