Another digitally colored Kelpie. I'm happy with this one but I think the legs needed to be worked on a little more.

Its Dreme [link] In his full kelpie form. Although very scary looking Dreme is very different from your average eating whomever tries to ride him/her kelpie. Dreme prefers apples of human flesh any day.

There are many myths and so called facts about kelpies but there is no proof. Save a few missing children near a lake every century or so but still no proof.

Kelpies in old Scottish tales are water horses who take the form of a small black mare lost by a lake/swamp. With fur that's never dry and always dripping murky water. It's said that if you try and ride a Kelpie it will reveal it's true form. You will get stuck to its murky fur like a leaf in mud and it will then continue to run into the lake and/or swamp. In said lake/swamp it will tear you apart eating you in shreds of damp flesh. Pieces will float ashore telling of the unfortunate event....
