Odin is quite the handsome man.
I used to have a gecko just like this
Her name was Alexandria. I had to give her away but she went to a school so she could have a nice life and teach kids things about animals and reptiles.

Yes, never give on hope that it will get better. I think having hope helps us through those tough times...and I'll hold on to hope for you too, that your condition will get better again.
I have a new addition to my reptile family! I bought a Hog Island Boa on Easter Monday. My friend at Arachnophiliacs had him at his table at the Easter Pet Expo. I was there for a little while, and I was thinking about him all weekend. Luckily he didn't sell, so I bought him the day after the expo. He's an 8 year old male, 4.5 feet long, with a very sweet-natured temperament. It's the first time I've ever had a boa. He is so calm, and from what I heard everyone loved him at the expo so it's kind of surprising that he didn't sell. Maybe it was just meant for me to buy him. I can even have him on the couch with me when I'm watching TV. He doesn't try to disappear between the cushions or wander off somewhere. I have 2 Royal Pythons who I dearly love, but they are a lot more active. When I try to relax with them on the couch they try to wander off and are more curious to explore (between the cushions, underneath the sofa, anywhere they can get to). But the boa is just content to stay with me. I think I'll name him Charisma in honor and memory of my very first snake...)
