Description Decided to take some pic's of all our snakes with our new camera (the Canon EOS REBEL T5i)and lens (55mm.  The new lens is very quiet, not really any noise unlike the previous one, which is great when taking pic's of reptiles (or any animal really) because the noise of the lens wont startle them).  This is our Normal Het. Pied Ball Python, Clyde.  Clyde is a sweet boy but can be shy & a big sucky baby...lol   He like my other boy Aries, likes to treat me like a kind of safety guard and always holds on to me with the end of his tail.  I love this one because it shows his cute little tongue.  Just wanted to share the pictures I took with you all.  Hope you enjoy

Thanks, I love his little tongue too
Also Thanks you for the congratulations wishes   So far I am really enjoying it and testing out all it's new features and I am also loving the new lens and how quite it is, it barley makes any noise at all & doesn't startle them like the other ones sometimes did.  I loved the tracking feature that I tested out on these pictures I took of the snakes.  It came in quite handy on these squirmy ones...lol and I think it worked quite well.

I'm still using my very first digital camera that I got 5 years ago from Shoppers Drug Mart...I've taken a lot of really good pictures with this beginner's camera, but one day I would like to upgrade and get a better one. I wonder how much more my photos will improve with a newer model....

We only upgraded because of a really good deal being offered.  It's the newer version of our old camera, but has many more features and upgrades.  I am actually shocked with how much clearer some of the pictures look.  For example I was fooling around with it the other day and just to see I set the iso to 4000 and even set that high the quality of the picture and details were great and it wasn't to grainy either.  When compared to the old one if I had set the iso that high (anything over 800 and it was too grainy for my liking) everything would not have been that clear or detailed and it would have been super grainy.  So far I am super happy with it   We actually have way to many camera's because everyone seems to dump cameras they don't want, not that I am complaining on us.  Some of them are good cameras, they were just to complicated for the people who purchased them.  So due to this we happen to have, 6 cameras   If you keep a look on line you may be able to find a great deal like we did
