Early birthday pic for , a great guy who's always supportive of everyone's works and Oc's.^^This here is a pic of one of his TUFF Oc's, Shizu Siam , again, done in my semi-realistic style. the youngest member of his Team Shinobi and uses bladed fans as her choice of weapons. I found her to be a cute character, especially after finding out she has a crush on Dudley Puppy.
I had to sketch quite a few poses before I found a satisfactory one. Looking at this and the sketches I did of her, I'm starting to see improvement in my anatomy skills and making my poses less "stiff." Oh, and the "outlining" around her: I got the idea from the great James Silvani and what he does with some of his drawings(see for yourself) silvaniart.tumblr.com/page/2 . I figured it would keep the pic from being too plan, what with the notorious white background I often have in my pics.
Done with Copic and Prismacolor markers

One thing's for sure, I think it's really nice to know how much you love Shizu after being able to draw her in your original style, and I'm glad to know that you've also become a fan of her as well! I actually intended her to be very cute and likeable with a personality very similar to that of Whitnee's while also being very skilled at fighting bad guys despite her young age, and I figured that her crush on Dudley would also be a nice touch for such a character. I really appreciate you being able to draw my characters in your original style, and I think you're a very nice and sweet friend to me as always!
