I have been trying to find the words to express this as I drew this. It’s hard to say for me. This is a huge step for me and I’m taking the risk.
For
Being here on DA, I’ve met many amazing artists. The list is too long for me to name, but each style I can remember like the back of my hand. You’re style is so adorable and just you. It can be recognized in seconds for me. The first time I met you here, I was noticing your comments of other artist. Then when you faved my art, I felt noticed by who I know is a great artist and person as well as I paced around, feeling like I was hyped with lots of energy. I am so proud that I have been noticed by you. And I can’t express my thanks anymore than a gift.
In recent times, I have noticed that you have been having a difficult time with art. I can relate so well to that. Besides being a kind soul across the internet, you were someone that could like your little guy drawn for you!
Your cute little fc, Wolfie Mario, was something I found ever so adorable. His personality was different than Mario and his style just mixed into yours with an easy reading of emotion. I could relate and was finding myself to love him as you have. And picture after picture of your little picture of this little guy has gotten me to make a big risky step (to me) and show my character I’ve been hiding and perfecting. In other words, you are one of the major people here to have encouraged me to show what I haven’t ever since his creation.
His name is Beta. And he is a FC that I had created and was hoping that people would like my character concept and be willing to accept him for what I have shaped him to be.
I truly hope you love how this turned out, because I am filled with joy to have done a great job and taken a path of showing more of my art here on DA.
For anyone reading this:
This is a picture of my FC, Beta, meeting ’s FC, Wolfie Mario. Beta is very shy when it comes to knew people because he only remembers and is comfortable with one person, but she is not anywhere to be found. He could just be trying to break his comfort zone by meeting the fragile flower before him.
Once some final adjustments are made, Beta’s Origin will be posted here so that anyone who wants to learn about him can read about him.
Please, give Beta a chance, seeing that he will show up more in my gallery. I only hope you will come to accept and maybe like him.

I love beta!! So I tried to come up with a Luigi type of beta thing....
It looks a little similar but hopefully that's ok with you for me to carry him. On, since my own other two characters I came up with weren't very 'noticed'... is that okay with you?...... and is it still ok for me to claim him as my own character as I did spend about a month trying to make him look descent and not like an art theft.... thanks!!

I'm glad you like Beta, but...
I'm just not sure if having a Luigi "Beta" around is even a good idea because I was kind of aiming for Beta to be unique... The more of what he is around (Mew/Mewtwo fusion with another character), the less unique of an idea it is... Not to say that it would be bad, but... I fear having a "clone" running around.
I'm trying to sound as nice as I can. I have nothing personal against you at all. I just... I don't think it's a good idea...

Beta looks really nice! You know I'm not a huge fan of pokemon, But I liked it very much! I would never expect to see a character like this, but that is what makes him so interesting
Also, as always, the art is 100% amazing the hair, wolfie mario's tail, everything so amazing! you colour in such a soft, cute way that always catch my eyes. Keep improving!!!

I read the comments and you shouldn't be shocked that Abbie loves it. You do have an amazing art style. So much detail in hair and shading in general.
I'm rather surprised at how a hybrid of Mew and Mario can look pretty cute as well ^_^ Looking forward to hearing the backstory.

Yes, Beta is something special to me. And one I took my time to his concept. I didn't want to rush his creation. I just had to get the mixture right. I guess you can consider the fusion between Mew and Mario, but I did intend for it to be Mewtwo. In someway, it's true that Mew could be in the mix... I don't know. Clone of Mew... Guess that can be considered? Dang, it's too early for me. |D

It's the shortness that makes him quite Mew-ish. But I guess its because he's a mixture of Mario that makes him short.

I don't want him to feel short, but it was a given that Mario's shortness would affect Beta. But how Beta was conceived would show the truth of it completely. I hope. I have got to finalize his origin... Slowly the parts will be posted. Better post that soon.

Wolfie himself looks so adorable! Everything about him looks perfect; from his position, to his hair, to the color, and his cute bushy tail 
And Beta looks very cute, too!
From what I'm seeing, is he a Pokémon crossover?
I understand about you being nervous about showing Beta to dA. When I first uploaded the first pic of Wolfie Mario, I was so afraid that he would be rejected, since his personality is opposite Mario's, and he is a wolf hybrid. Not everyone likes anthros or anything of the sort (although Wolfie isn't technically one), so I was nervous of what the reaction would be. But surprisingly, everyone seemed to like him.
Now Wolfie will be turning two years old in November.
And even if most people don't agree with Beta, just know that I'm on your side.

I am almost crying. I am too happy to find out you love this! I am almost completely at a loss for words. I just wanted to cheer you up from your art block issue and, well I admit, I did want to see how little Wolfie would turn out in my style! Also, I wanted to make sure I got every detail right on your little guy. Guess I got it! C:
Yes, Beta is a fusion of a Pokemon. Specifically Mewtwo. Once his origin story is put up, (it has a few parts) You will know how he came to be. I do warn anyone though that it is a lengthy origin, but details are what I aim for!
And one more thank you. Mainly to be accepting of Beta. It means the world to me that he is welcome here. Seeing that it's you, I will be crying with so many tears of happiness whenever I think of his next appearance. I don't know if you or Wolfie would like this idea, but could Beta be a friend of Wolfie's? If you don't think so, it's ok. Just you accepting him will be enough. :'>

I've always adored your art style, and was always awaiting the chance when I'd get you to draw Wolfie.
The main reasons why I have art block is school stress (but that's a given), demotivation, and I'm kinda sick.

Well, my birthday and Wolfie's birthday are coming up, so...
I usually make Wolfie's ears peach, and everything else is colored pink (like the Tanooki and Kitsune ears).
