This pendant was created June 20th 2011. It features a tree of life with rainbow fused glass as the background. I also made the glass in this pendant. My glass is fired in a digitally controlled kiln. This pendant is wire wrapped in nontarnishing silver wire so you don't have to worry about cleaning it.

Pendant measures 1.50 x 0.85 inches.

This pendant comes with a 1.2mm 20 inch sterling silver snake chain.

Dichroic glass is an art glass that derived from NASA when they were trying to make face shields for astronauts. Glass is put in a vacuum chamber and bombarded with different mineral elements to get different colors. Dichroic glass is the most expensive glass on the market. As artists... we melt this glass with colored and clear glass of the same expanding rate. Not all glass is the same. Glass must expand at the same rate to be fused properly. Dichroic glass comes in many different patterns and colors. We cut the glass and even stack it to melt into one piece. After it is melted... we shape it and melt it again. Some techniques require you to fuse the glass 2-5 times... depending on the effect they are trying to achieve.
