Sooo originally done in my sketchbook until I screwed up on the background with blue pencil crayon.I decided I would cut it out and glue it onto one of my crappy paintings from class and voila! Problem solved. Unfortunately a camera is all I could use, it's too big for the scanner.
I'll try to update with a better image.

How long have you practiced to make scales like that ? It's really hard to draw scales that actually fit together, but I see that you have no problem with that.

I don't really practice, I just look at the shape of the dragon and draw scales that fit together

Awsome colours and spikey bits ^.^ but the wing to body ratio seems a bit off, he looks like hed have a bit of trouble flying

Probably, but 8n' a half to 11 ratio paper is a bit limited
Usually I try to make wings huge ass because of that reason, I hate seeing dragons with this pewny things of wings and yet can still fly.
