Description PMD Club Mission #3, special mission at Mt. Steel. Team Blazeon (finally made official in fictional story!) Vs Skarmory. Have I ever mentioned I don't like deadlines? Because they really suck. Like, really. They do. I had to do this before the 7th so...yeah. >>

"How's the view from down there, oh highly esteemed members of Team Blazeon?"

Neither Flare nor Asa responded to the menacing Pidgey as she perched up ahead upon a boulder, effortlessly catching the updrafts. The two below her struggled to climb the difficult terrain of Mt. Steel.

"You know, you're part of this rescue team too, Breeze!" Asa managed between labored breaths.

"Funny, I seem to be lacking in entirety that stupid little egg and wing thing you two are wearing," she clicked her beak in amusement.

"It's a rescue badge," Flare insisted, knowing it would be futile.

"Badge, smadge. I say if you want action, go looking for it! So what if there are just whiny parents hanging around saying 'oh, I'm outta Pecha Berries, go get me one!' or 'I'm going out for the night, babysit my kids!' Puh-lease. There's no life around this place, no-one really dying, nothing to really 'fight'."

Fluffing up her down, she took to the skies just as the 'rest' of Team Blazeon caught up to her. "Slowpokes, you're taking forever. Hurry up, I'm already at the mountain top."

"If you didn't notice, we can't fly like you," the human muttered, getting tired of the Pidgey's antics.

"Hoho, that's because one of you is just a flat-out flying reje-KAWWWWWWWWWWWUUUUU!"

Breeze had only gone over the edge for a mere second, but that was obviously all the time needed for something to happen. Two feathers revealed themselves at the crest of the mountain. One definitely belonged to the tiny bird, but the other was sharp and metallic. At once Asa and Flare used adrenaline to propel them to the top.

Using Gusts to protect herself from getting brutally attacked, Breeze was screeching wildly as a very large, very metallic bird harrassed her back.

"What are you doing on my mountain? What right do you have to perch here like it's YOUR mountain?!"

"Oh, by the legendaries...Breeze!" Asa called, suddenly taking flight with Quick Attack. She cautiously grabbed ahold of her friend by her ankle with her teeth, pulling her out of harm's way. The two landed, teetering dangerously close to the edge. Skarmory spun around.

"You brought your friends too, huh? You have friends, huh? That just makes me not like you even more!"

"Looks like we're in for a fight," Asa murmured.

"Yeah, duh. Now, get off of me so I can deal some damage to Aluminum Freak here!" the small bird hissed.

I speedpainted this, as usual. Background's crappy. I don care, it's a speedpaint. I'm on deadline. I'm tired. I have work tomorrow. Bed time. FIYAH. Guh, I still have to sew so much ASDF *is procrastinating; doesn't like embroidering eyes* Uh, yeah. Asa's just chillin'. It was hard to have her like attack Skarmory to do much of anything. That's Flare and Breeze's job. Asa prolly just wants to talk. Or something.

...It was later after they defeated the Skarmory that they discovered he was just lonely, and didn't know how to make friends. They befriended Skai before he left for his home back in Western Cave. Well, Flare and Asa did at any rate. ;D

Nintendo credits, yadda yadda you guys know the drill by now.

I'm envious of your drawing abilities.

It looks like the Eevee is scared, the poor thing.

I was kinda going more for 'determined'. I guess I didn't make her eye look determined enough. |D I don't doubt that was the case. I was eager to finish this.

And thank youuu. Practice practice practice. Just a few years ago my art was most definitely shitty. XB

I have two problems when it comes to drawing, though. I have trouble with spatial recognition (so arms are different lengths, heads are ellipses, etc.), and I usually either rush it or procrastinate too much.

Time's the problem, then. XD I always take 8+ plus on my really good pieces.

For proportions, I think I'll do a written/ill tut one day to help with that. ^^ Do you think that'd help?

It might, but I think it has more to do about my eyes/brain than practice or technique.
