Being able to spread your wings is an exciting thing, it makes anything possible, but nothing is as easy going as it seems and there are times when things won't go according to plan and you'll get knocked down and plans will fracture, but you just have to pick up those pieces and push on before taking flight.
This is something that I'm struggling quite a bit with at the moment, but I am slowly and gradually picking up the pieces ^^
I enjoyed painting this piece, but it was also highly frustrating - I still struggle with anatomy and perspective and I hate feet haha. But pushing myself to do all the things I find difficult is a good challenge

I like this job very much-especially that her wings are colorful and I associate with a stained glass, which in turn with the wings of angels on stained glass in churches. I hope that there was some "glue", that light would be visible through these wings again.

I said somewhere else, this is such an amazing concept. The unique wings are fresh and different than any I have ever seen anywhere and yet so perfect for the idea. I find this piece so incredibly poignant because of the humanity, the sorrow in the very real human. Her feet just break my heart. That is truly how someone in sorrow holds themselves, that and the lift to her shoulders. The attention to detail and true, deep feeling for the person we all have been, make this a masterpiece.
