I did this piece for an online vector magazine. This issue's theme is mythology. And this is my first Medusa.Illustrator CS4

Though the personality of Medusa is fierce, you made the opposite by giving her a light hearted atmosphere. SO cute

I really like this...but...
The colors. You are so fearless. And went in a totally different direction than I probably would have. When I think of Medusa, I think of a sexy, evil, woman who has been scorned. This seems very...fluffy and pretty. Looks great, but I'm curious what would happen if you changed the colors?

Thank you! I know this version is very different than all the other medusa out there. But it's mythology, right? So nobody knows exactly what medusa is like! I am trying to portrait her soft spot, a rare but gentle side. That's why all the colors are warm and soft. I do think it's an interesting suggestion to try a different color to see how it looks. I am going to do that!
