I don't get why some players say they don't like him. I mean, yeah...he asks you to do stuff, but he asks you because he trusts you to get the job done, and to do it with as much humanity as possible. In a world where horrors everywhere and one could easily fall into despair, he's trying to make the Commonwealth a better place for everyone. He's a good person.

Honestly he kind of got the short of the stick with how they also made him a quest giver. So he just gets on people's nerves. Other than that hes a good person and people just kinda suck.

Oh yeah don't get me wrong, hell I actually LIKE helping the settlements and I know that Preston has a good heart (which really adds to his character). Still I do love how annoyed everyone else gets at it, but without him those settlements would be doomed! It's a cute picture in the end, you gotta love Mr. Garvey π
