Church isn't just for religious old people or scholars or truth-seekers. It's for everyone and anyone. The story is so mind-boggling that an adult can wrestle with it for centuries and still learn something new, but also so simple that even a child can understand it and believe.
Easy Mode?
God is the creator of everything good and really loves people.
But something went wrong and we made everything go bad.
Our sin separates us from God. Our sin leads to death.
But God didn't want us to die so he sent Jesus to die for us.
Jesus got nailed to the Cross as punishment for all our sins.
Jesus proved that it worked because he came back from death.
Jesus is alive again forever because he is God!
Anyone and everyone who believes in Jesus is no longer
separated from God and gets to live forever with God!
That is how we know God loves us.
"While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
