What sort of voice did he have? You say he was meowing like a housecat, but I've heard QUITE the range of housecat voices - some just have a small little wimpy "mew", and some (like mine) have a rather monstrous yell of a Meow. He'll be on the other side of the room, and friends over voicechat will think I'm holding him up to the microphone.

Actually, interesting fact, Cheetahs, REGARDLESS of age, can't roar.
But, I believe they are the only big cat that purrs both breathing in -and- out, most only purr breathing out.
