Description This photograph accompanies my earlier gallery picture 'Folkestone Harbour' and shows the banker, British Railways Standard 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80080 dropping down with the stock of the Shepway Festival 'Golden Arrow'  to the Harbour Station in September 1991. Bulleid pacific No. 34027 'Taw Valley' is on the other end. A few people are out enjoying their lunch, seasoned with a whiff of coal smoke.......

Thanks for the fave. Sadly, this historic line closed in 2014 although there are moves afoot to install a 'light rail' system.
