I also like the slightly tilted angle in which u look at the camera. It is what makes this shot a little different from the usual facial close-up self-portraits. Besides that, it gives your look the "see right through you" feeling and transform it into an intense stare under which the viewer feels naked.

I like the eye color but I'm not sure abour this white border. I think You could crop this picture tightier (cut a little more of top part) but I like it anyway

The clarity in this is incredible. If you don't mind me asking, what sort of camera do you use?

It's nothing special, actually there's a self portrait in my gallery whit my camera in it. It's a 7 mp Panasonic that has automatic 12x optical zoom and auto focus. It's a nice, easy to use camera, and what could be considered an advanced point and shoot. There's alot of cool things my camera allows me to do but it's no DSLR and I'm unable to interchange lenses. The only big disatvantage I've found with my camera over one like a DSLR is that it doesn't have enough speed in the shutter to give me quality action images. Other than that, along with some work in Photoshop 6, it produces most of the results I seek.
