Next Comic [link]Spoilers for the End of "The Arrival" DLC. Kind of an odd spoiler, as it won't matter unless u buy the DLC. If you don't, ME3 is just going to assume you did I think.
Anyway, if you like the comic and find it funny, please me know in the comments I will try to come up with more.
EDIT: Fixed a slight continuity error someone pointed out, the old first panel had the SR1 Normandy in it, with wouldn't make any sense.

It's just something I threw together in photoshop with a couple layers and a filter. Latest in a long list of my attempts to make things look metal. One day I will perfect an easy way to do it.

Haha nice. I also like that shep looks a little fallout-ish. The "see my mom" thing is great. Sadly, I doubt spacer will really get to do anything with Hannah. What a shame.

I don't know, Spacer Shep may have a conversation with Hannah. Since Hawke's family's skin tone and hair style depends on Hawke's (if Hawke is fair skinned, the family is fair skinned. If Hawke is dark skinned, the same is true for the family), BioWare may be able to make Hannah Shepard have the same skin color as Spacer Shepard. Or it will be restricted to another conversation like in Mass Effect 1

I hoped that after DA2 we might see Spacer parents as well, but I'm still skeptical. I suspect they'll never show us Hannah.

It does. It also seems the least tragic...until you think about Shepard's father. I read a fan fic where Shepard's father was indifferent about his child, but I imagine Shepard father had died in combat, and that was one of the reasons why Spacer Shep joined the Alliance Navy.

Hm... yeah since dad isn't around I guess his relationship with Shep could be about anything. The most hardcore I could ever think Spacer would be though would be overly demanding parents (which kinda fits with hannah's cold attitude towards shep). And while that could be interesting, I just think the other two are more interesting.

Overly demanding parents definitely fit, although I don't see how Hannah was cold towards Shep in Mass Effect 1 or 2. How is she cold towards Shep? I'm not questioning you, don't worry. I am curious as to how she comes off that way

I just thought she was cold because you call her and she acts like she has no time for you, and there didn't seem to be a lot of interest in what shep was doing. Then in ME2 you just get the email which didn't seem as relieved or angry as a parent would really be if they found out their child was alive (and hadn't informed them, or possibly faked their death). I know they're a military family, but it just seems cold to me.
Basically, I think I had an expectation that since Spacer was the only background with parents being alive, then the reward would be getting parents who care about shep. The aloofness that Hannah gives off just... doesn't meet those expectations, you know?

Yeah, now that you mention it I can see that. She doesn't seem the kind of "I really love my child" mother. Maybe because she and Shepard are both in the Alliance military, she doesn't show a lot of parental care when on duty.
