I watched Star Wars Epsiode III trailer, and it really gives me some inspiration, so.... I make this space-combat scene just for fun, and all of the models are low poly (lol dont have time to make a detailed one).-The title of this deviation has been edited. Formerly it's "Battle for Anneris 8" and now renamed into "Battle for Anneris VIII" since "Anneris 8" sounds suck, and "Anneris VIII" sounds much better than "Anneris 8"
The story of this pic:
Terrans (inhabitant of earth, humans) are attacking Anneris VIII, the capital planet of Anneron (it's an alien race, which is hostile to terrans). The reason of this attack is merely a counterattack because Anneron have attacked the Terran homeworld twice, now after the Terran Fleet gains control of anneron local space, terran fleet initiates blockade of Anneris VIII. Meanwhile, the reinforcements from adjacent anneron planet arrives and they're opening fire to liberate Anneris VIII from Terran blockade

But Anneris VIII and Anneris 8 are pronounced the same. So they sound the same. I think you meant "looked" different. Anyway, good wall.

Hehehe I guess you right, maybe I was too lazy to type "VIII" since it's holding shift and typing four buttons, typing "8" are much easier, just one button hahahaha.

lol. Although the outcome of the battle is still unresolved, the humans sure have difficulties repelling the attack

meh... their big ships if falling to pieces... its a common fact in all military... the smaller more manuverable dudes win... unless you roll over them, have mines, machineguns, force fields, reflector fields, homing missiles, stealth, forts invulnerable to their main attacks, torpedo defense nets, heat seekers, lock on technology, rapidfire... i could go on... i guess the big dudes do win...

yeah.. but the annerons do possess some technology which human doesn't have... which shouldn't be underestimated, and the annerons have bigger quantities as well, since they're fighting in anneron-controlled space.

but we have SUPERSMASHBROSMELEE!!! and instead of a war, we have a SSBM competition and then sentence them to death by ownage...

nice busy scene. some of the xplosions dont look right but i think its pretty good overall. what program did you use?

Thanks. Maybe i'll tweak some of the explosions today, along with re-render the scene (maybe i'll update this scene in next 24-48 hours). I used 3 programs for this one, 3dsmax 7, adobe photoshop, and particle Illusion.

Ow... looks like I dont have time to re-render the scene. More serious work coming in, since "Battle for Anneris VIII" is only just for fun (and not generating any financial profit) so I'll prioritize my work on the other one. If i had time, i'll tweak this.... thanks for the comment.
