It looks something out of a horror movie. Night of the Living Dead Saints: Mormons Rising.

I love this! I noticed theΒ 4389Γ2926 resolution. Is there anyway I can get a copy of this size to use a wallpaper on my desktop?

So, you need a 12 MP image for a desktop wallpaper? Β

Wow, I hope this isn't wrong of me to say... it's a beautiful temple (I've only been there once) and this is a RIDICULOUSLY wonderful artistic picture... but it looks sort of scary haha I imagine someone lost in the woods at night, and they come across this, and can only stare up at it as lightning flashes!

I like your picture. Most people won't take a picture like that of the SLC temple.

I am aspiring to become a better photographer and I need a lot of work...would you mind explaining a little bit of what techniques you used to end up with this final result.?

It's been a few years since I made this, so my recollections are somewhat hazy. Seems as if I desaturated and darkened all blue tones in the image, then added a black and white "multiply" layer. I can't remember, really. Basically, just learn layers and blending options in Photoshop, if you want to create something like this.

What an amazing photograph. Very well composed. The detail that your 5D captures makes me jelous.

Indeed, the 5D's resolving abilities are pretty damn good. I have my sights set on the Mark II, but I still absolutely love the performance afforded by the first iteration. You should look around -- they're pretty cheap anymore with the introduction of its successor.
Thanks for the comments.

Yeah definitely. Ive been looking around for a while but I still couldn't afford it cause im a poor college student haha. But you have great photo's and im sure once you get your Mark II they will be even better.
